Shipping and Returns

What postal service do you use?
All orders placed with waffel are delivered via Sendle or Australia Post. Please note that due to COVID-19 Australia post is experiencing major delays so your parcel may take longer to make its way to you and into your happy hands. 

How long does it take for orders to be dispatched?
Here at waffel all orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days from our warehouse in Melbourne. However we will always aim to get your order out as soon a possible with most cases being same day dispatch. 
Orders placed over the weekend or public holidays will be processed and dispatched on the following business days (Monday- Friday). 
Once orders are placed they are not able to be edited, added or cancelled.

What are your shipping costs?
Here at waffel your postage rate is based on the weight tier your packed item fits into. Your packed item weight is based on your packed item’s actual or cubic weight, whichever is greater.

What happens once I’ve placed an order?
After submitting your order with us you will receive an order confirmation by email.
As soon as your goodies are dispatched from our warehouse you will receive an email with your tracking number so you can keep up to date with where your parcel is located.

What happens if my parcel is lost?
In the unlikely event of a lost parcel, please contact our team at and we will launch an investigation with Australia post. Please allow up to 5 working days for this to be concluded. If your parcel is deemed as lost we will issue you with a full refund or store credit.

What happens if one or more of my items are pre order?
Please note that if an item is listed on our website as PRE ORDER it will not ship until after the specified arrival date. If you place additional NON PRE ORDER items in the same order as your PRE ORDERED item, all of your items will be posted out with the pre-ordered item when it arrives. You will receive a confirmation email once the pre ordered items arrive and will be given a link for tracking once its been dispatched from our Melbourne warehouse.

What if i get sent an incorrect product?
It doesn’t happen often but from time to time especially in busy periods mistakes are made and someone is sent the wrong product, We are only human after all. In the event of this happening please send an email to with your order number and someone from our lovely sales team will be able to assist you with the mix up.

What if my product is faulty or damaged?
In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged stock please email our sales team at and they will be able to assist you in replacing the product and organising a returns label for you to send back the faulty item.

What if i received a item as a gift but I’ve already got it?
Here at waffel we don’t offer returns for change of mind however we understand that sometimes you a gifted something that your child/children may already have. In this case we are more than happy for that item/items to be returned for an exchange or store credit. Your gift receipt/proof of purchase will need to be provided.

How long will Returns take?
Returns sent via Australia post usually take 3-7 days to reach our Melbourne warehouse. However this all depends on where you are based and how on track Aus post are with their deliveries.  Please note that due to COVID-19 Australia post is experiencing major delays so your parcel may take longer to make its way home to us. 
Once your return item/items have been received at our Melbourne warehouse, it will be processed within 1 to 3 business days. Depending on your bank it may take a further 3 to 5 days to clear the funds back into your account.
